Industry Building Blocks

What are the numbers at the bottom right of each web page?
- They are: 1) The total number of industry building blocks that are avaiable, and 2) The number of industries that have been selected by you
Is it wise to use the back key?
- No. The system is so fast (using great in-memory something or other) that it's almost always better to re-start a search and quickly select items of interest, rather than try to figure out what was previously clicked and still marked as selected
Why are there 19 industry sectors - why not 15, 20 or some other number?
- The Industry Building Blocks Industry Classification System [TM] is totally flexible in that the approximately 12,000 industries can be grouped in almost any manner the user wants. Given that at any one time there must be one grouping, it was decided to group the 12,000 industries into 19 sectors because LinkedIn allows for 20 subgroups, and there was a need to save one subgroup for users of this system and others interested in industry classification systems.
